The Galaxy Cruz kayak has been designed to accommodate every need of todays kayak fisherman. Whether you are just starting out or you are experienced, the Galaxy Cruz comes equipped for any occasion and likes to be used as a sea kayak as much as in likes lakes and rivers. Jigging, spinning, trolling, live bait - you name it and the Galaxy Cruz can deliver.

The new Galaxy Cruz comes with six copper inserts strategically placed around your kayak. One at the front, one at the back and two on either side of the paddler. These inserts allow for easy and drill free installation of popular and even mandatory accessories (in certain regions), like the Railblaza Visibility Kit II or Flagwhip at the rear of the kayak, Cameraboom or Camera Mount in the front of the kayak, and up to two Tracports which fit perfectly on either side of the kayak.

These new lateral inserts are also ideal for the placement of rod holders and fishfinders, depending on your kayak fishing preference. Finally, if you’re interested in sailing on your kayak then these side supports are designed for the attachment of sails and keels when using a kayak sail system like the Vela Eola.

To get you started on your accessory journey, we’ve included one original Railblaza Starport with the Cruz as standard so that you can begin to accessorise your kayak with ease.

This kayak is designed to maximise stability with its 82cm width and specially designed flat bottom, which helps maintain stability even when reeling in the most strenuous fish. Even though it’s a shorter kayak, the Galaxy Cruz still maintains a good speed as the deep front keel and back have been designed to make it a smooth ride.

The Galaxy Cruz also comes with four flush mount fixed rod holders and one swivel pro rod holder, which gives you ample choice for your preferred fishing setup.

The front storage hatch gives access to the hull for storing any extra material not in use, as does the rear storage area with bungee cords. If you feel you need to add more, you can always get creative and order items from our fantastic list of kayak accessories.

1 central storage hatch with a live bait well: comes with option to use as live bait-well for either a wet or dry setup (just choose whether to use scupper plug) and with hermetic seal.

Lifeline made from durable rope: this durable rope allows fisherman to connect items to it, and is useful for manoeuvres such as anchor positioning. The new rope, versus the previous elastic, also improves manoeuvrability of the kayak if the worst happens and you need to use it as a lifeline
